I am not a blogger....but I need to work at blogging more. It's good for my business profile and even better for my SEO. Honestly, I don't prioritize it bc I spend so much time with clients and then my family. Well today, as I was editing this session I realized that my family is much larger than my immediate family of 6. So many of my clients reach "family" status as we journey through life together in sessions, in pictures, and in memories...

I remember walking into a Panera 15 months ago and sitting down with a beautiful couple. They were looking to hire a birth photographer. Their 1st child, a baby boy was due to arrive in September. We met, talked about me documenting their birth and all that comes with that, it takes a lot of trust for someone to invite you into their birthing room. I had the pleasure of capturing the very moment their precious baby boy arrived. Amy was nothing short of amazing as she worked so hard to bring Eli into the world.

Since then, I have helped them capture Eli's first year. I've been able to watch them grow as a family and I've watched Eli grow from a tiny baby boy, completely dependent on Billy and Amy and into...

an adorable little ham with an infectious smile!

I can honestly say, Billy, Amy and Eli are like family to me. Eli is now a  healthy, chunky, perfect toddler. He's so smart and there's no doubt he will grow up to do great things! His parents are amazing, he's one lucky boy!  What a blessing it is to be trusted to capture these moments for them. As I edited his pictures from earlier this week, I felt compelled to thank them for allowing me to be part of their journey. These are more than pictures, they're memories I hope they will treasure for a lifetime.

Thank you Billy, Amy and Eli, for letting me come along on this journey with you!
